The Music Mentor Group is an expert team of four successful music teaching entrepreneurs (Debra Perez, Robyn Harris, Natalia Huang, Kathy Rabago) who will share their strategies for building a profitable music school from scratch. They guarantee that every participant will leave with a personalized business action plan.

We have designed an informative and inspirational day for everyone that will be full of practical and proven ways to help you move your dreams forward! Our hope is that when you leave the 88 Creative Keys Workshops, you will be equipped and empowered to implement your new ideas and information in your growing music business.
The 3 main business topics we will explore are:
1. Marketing: Taking your business to the next level often includes the goal of adding more programs, offerings and of course students. During this session, we will explore several avenues and tools available to deliver your unique message to your community. Online, in-person and internal marketing options will provide a rich foundation to help design your personal marketing plan.
2. Building Your Team: This is another important part of growth. How do I find and hire teachers? What about financial and admin help? What are possible tasks that I can outsource? Whether you are just beginning this process or need to build a stronger team, we want to help you see both the options and opportunities you have.
3. Operational Systems: These are the important tools that are available and needed to help your business run smoothly and efficiently. We have all learned that the sooner these are in place, the sooner we can experience fewer struggles. We will experience some of the programs available for registration, your customer database, invoicing and staff communication.
Each topic will include:
a. Mastermind Session: If you have never participated in a Mastermind group, you will be energized by the combination of brainstorming, peer support and education. This one activity has proven to produce some of the richest and creative ideas that we have experienced as the Music Mentor Group.
b. Interactive Breakout Session: We will divide into small groups throughout the day to dig even deeper into our three main topics. This will give us all a chance to share what we know has worked and help each other problem solve as needed.
Don’t be surprised if this part reminds you of the off-bench activities and
other creative techniques you experienced the previous three days with Bradley, Leila and Tim.
c. Individual Planning Session: You will receive a template that we will be using throughout the day to begin designing a plan based on the three main topics. Our goal is to help you develop your own plan based on your goals and vision for your music studio or school. This is a very important step that often gets overlooked. If it’s not written down, it won’t happen. And we want you to leave Denver ready to move forward!

Because we are a small, boutique workshop, each student has a big impact on our planning and budget i.e. how many pianos to provide, how many meals to prepare… However, we also understand that unforeseen circumstances may prevent a paid registrant from attending the workshop. So we are happy to offer a full refund minus a $50 processing fee provided we receive an email notifying us of the necessity to cancel on or before July 1, 2017. No refunds will be offered after this date.
